An intensive workshop for Master’s and PhD students in glass science and early-career researchers in the glass industry.
The program covers key topics such as structure–property relationships, thermodynamics, modeling, optical behavior, NMR, strength, sol-gel coatings, chemical analysis, simulations, and AI — delivered by leading experts.
With a strong focus on student-centered learning, participants engage in tutorials, team projects, and present solutions to real glass-related challenges.

Save the Date! The CeRTEV team, in collaboration with ICTP-SAIFR (IFT-UNESP), is excited to announce the Fourth São Carlos School on Glasses and Glass-Ceramics, which will take place April 27 – May 1, 2026!
Following the success of the previous editions (2015, 2023, 2024), this school is part of a prestigious international series supported by the International Commission on Glass (ICG), alongside events in Montpellier, Wuhan, and Kolkata.
